[1] α-Arbutin
When our skin is exposed to UV rays, melanin pigment, which causes spots, is produced. Arbutin inhibits the activity of enzymes called tyrosinase and TRP-1, which are involved in the synthesis of melanin pigment, thereby preventing the production of melanin pigment and offering a whitening effect. Arbutin is also said to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

An anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic ingredient. Skin is prone to inflammation when dry.

● What is NtDDS (New Transdermal Direct Delivery System)?
Our independently developed nano-dispersion transdermal delivery technology is a technology that encapsulates water-soluble and polymeric components in nano-capsules within an oil layer. It nano-disperses the components to be delivered deeper into the skin (stratum corneum), allowing them to spread throughout the stratum corneum. The surface of the skin has high hydrophobicity to protect against dryness and external stimuli, making it difficult for water-soluble components to penetrate. Therefore, with the nano-dispersion transdermal delivery technology developed with NtDDS, water-soluble components are covered with nano-sized capsules and emulsified in jojoba oil, creating an affinity with the hydrophobic skin surface and achieving improved permeability and stability.
